The second Elric volume collects the stories that previously appeared in The Bane of the Black Sword, Stormbringer, and the more recent and much inferior Revenge of the Rose. Although this is classic sword and sorcery, I didn't find it to be as enjoyable as the first collection -- it contains far too many battles, quests, and other random subplots as it meanders towards its conclusion. Still, I found the conclusion to be satisfying and the book as a whole to be entertaining in a guilty pleasure sort of way.
