This is a short book explaining the special and general theories of relativity, without using very many equations. It's very well written, and starts from first principles since it was intended for an audience with a background only in classical physics. Einstein not only makes relativity make sense, but also makes it seem necessary -- that is the mark of great scientific writing. Recommended.
